  • This Refund Policy applies to all bookings made with Shiv Travellers through our website, phone, WhatsApp, or online payment gateways including Razorpay.

Eligibility for Refund

Refunds are applicable only in cases where:

  • The booking is canceled within the allowed cancellation window (as communicated at booking time), or
  • The service could not be provided due to a fault solely attributable to Shiv Travellers.
  • For most cab bookings, cancellations made 6 hours or more before the scheduled pickup time are eligible for refund, subject to applicable cancellation charges.
  • Refund eligibility depends on service type, timing of cancellation, and operational status (driver dispatched or not).

Non-Refundable Situations

Refunds will not be provided in the following cases:

  • Cancellation after driver dispatch.
  • No-show by the customer at pickup time.
  • Incorrect pickup or drop details provided by the customer.
  • Trip disruption caused by traffic, weather, road conditions, government restrictions, strikes, or natural events.
  • Change of plan after trip commencement.
  • Partial usage of service.
  • Payment gateway charges, convenience fees, and applicable taxes may be non-refundable, even when a refund is approved.

Cancellation & Refund Timeline

  • Approved refunds are processed within 7–10 working days.
  • Refunds are credited to the original payment method used at the time of booking.
  • Processing time may vary depending on the bank or payment provider.

Mode of Refund

  • Online payments are refunded to the same source account.
  • Cash payments, if any, are refunded via bank transfer after verification.
  • Shiv Travellers does not issue refunds in cash.

Partial Refunds

Partial refunds may be issued in cases such as:

  • Vehicle replacement causing service downgrade.
  • Delay or cancellation initiated by Shiv Travellers before trip start.
  • The final refund amount is determined after internal review.

Dispute Resolution

  • For refund-related concerns, customers must contact Shiv Travellers directly before raising a payment dispute or chargeback. Unauthorized or unjustified chargebacks may lead to booking suspension or refusal of future services.
